Lessons are held on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings at Wilsden Equestrian Centre, just 30mins outside the city. MAP

Wilsden Equestrain Centre is owned and run by Selene Raistrick BHSAI. It is a small and friendly yard with a wide variety of horses and ponies and excellent facilities.

There is a large indoor menage with viewing gallery, an outdoor floodlit sand school, and a jumping paddock with a full set of show jumps.

Facilities include car parking, toilets, hot drinks vending machine and social area complete with comfy sofa!

Lessons consist of 4 riders, grouped according to ability. LUHRC lessons cost just £14 for one hour group lessons, and £10 for half-hour beginners lessons. These vary between flat work and jumping, catering for everyone from total beginners to advanced riders.

Hacks are also £14 and take you out through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. All riders must attend an assessment lesson and be able to canter confidently before they can go on a hack.

Our amazing Lesson Organiser is Fran Northrop, who can be contacted through the committee page.
